The Francophone Society (SFR) is an official recognized University of Toronto student organisation, created to serve as the voice of francophone students. Currently we are primarily based in Scarborough campus, but welcome members and participation across the University of Toronto!
About Us
The Francophone Society (SFR) is an entirely student-led initiative with the goal of serving the students of the University of Toronto. We hope to enhance the student experience by serving as a space for francophone students, reinforcing the national value of bilingualism and to promote both the French language and share the many cultures of the Francophone in the University of Toronto. If you’re looking for somewhere to meet francophone students, improve your French or learn more about francophone culture, we are the organization for you.
As a student body, we are always keen to hear feedback from our UofT community! If you have any suggestions or ideas on how we can enhance the student experience, be it through academic support, social events or professional development, feel free to reach out to our executive team via email or instagram.
As we are an actively expanding student organisation, the executive committee is constantly undergoing restructuring to match our evolving needs as an organisation. Keep an eye on the “Our Team” page and our instagram to know about the latest positions!
